Svmi4 main greeting instructions:
- Press the message key or dial the voice mail group 519, 529, or 549
- Dial *#000 0000 1
- Then select the message you want to change
- Dial 1001 for day
- Dial 1002 for night
- Follow the recorded instructions

Svmi4e and Svmi8 main greeting instructions:
- Press the message key or dial the voice mail group 519, 529, or 549
- Dial *#0000 0000 1
- Then select the message you want to change
- Dial 1001 for day
- Dial 1002 for night

Before you begin we suggest that if you do not have the original Samsung Programming and User Guides, that you download these now. 
 
Most can access their FlashMail Admin. programming by:
1- pressing the VM/Msg Key

2-When prompted to enter password Press the star key *
3-Press the pound key# and 0000
4-Enter password 0000
At this point you will be in admin.
 
Hopefully the Printable "Cheat Sheets" provided below will be helpful.  If you have attempted to make changes in either your mailboxes, or your System prompts, and still have problems, please call our tech support at 770-460-0442

 

Recording Main System Prompts & Associated Modes

 

To Record or Change System Greeting Prompts in Administrative Mailbox - 000

 

  1. Press VMADM  or Dial 77 (If calling from outside – wait for system to answer & Dial #0000 to access Admin Mailbox)
  2. Enter Password (0000)
  3. Press 1 to edit System Prompts  NOTE: (To change Mode – for system to play greeting Press 3 here)*
  4. Enter Prompt # (Day Greeting Prompt = 1001)
  5. Follow recorded instructions

 

1001:  Day/ Main Prompt (Mode 1)

“Thank you for calling …. If you know your party’s extension, you may dial it at any time or you

may listen for the following options.

 

1002:  Night/ Main Prompt (Mode 2)

“Thank you for calling ….  I’m sorry our offices are closed.  Our normal business hours are 8:30 – 5:00…

 

1003:  Bad Weather Prompt (Mode 3)

 “Our offices are closed due to bad weather….”

 

1004:  Holiday Prompt (Mode 4)

  “Our offices are closed for the holiday…., we will reopen…”

      

NOTE: *For the system to play a particular greeting, you will need to set the MODE.  After recording the chosen prompt, Press  *(Star Key) to back up to Step 3

6.      Press 3  “To Change The System MODE”.

7.      Press 0  For all Ports

8.      Enter the Mode # as follows:          

                

0 = Automatic Day/Night,     1= Day,   2 = Night,   3 = Bad Weather,    4 = Holiday    


 

SVMi*e FlashMail System Administration

 

 

 

Create or Administer Mailboxes:   Mailbox Programming can be done through individual mailboxes or through System Administration.  Following are directions to program mailboxes in System Administration from any telephone. 

 

With the telephone on the hook, and using the telephone keypad, use the following the instructions:

2.  Subscriber Administration

 

    Steps   Action                                             System recordings that are played

 

       1.     Dial               77 or VMADM     Enter your password”

       2.     Password        000 or 0000              To edit system prompts….For Subscriber Admin. Press 2.”  

       5.     Press                   2                           “Enter Subscriber Number followed by the # Key”

       6.      Enter        (Mailbox Number) + #  “To accept press 1…”

       7.     Follow pre-recorded prompts to complete programming subscriber mailboxes.

 

           

To make changes from the outside: 

Call into the office and wait for the System to Answer

Press  #0000 or #000.  You can then start with step 2 to make any System administration changes.

SVMi*e FlashMail System Admin - Greetings & Mailboxes

 

Day Greeting/Options programming:  These are programmed through System Administration. Below are the instructions to program these from any phone.

 

1.  Edit System Prompts  -  Day Greeting/Directory Options programming:

 

    Steps   Action                                              System recordings that are played

 

       1.     Press              77 or VMADM             Enter your password”

       2.     Password        000 or 0000       "System administration menu,  Edit Prompts"

       3.     Press                  1                            “Enter Prompt Number”

       4.      Enter Prompt number, according to list below and follow the recorded prompts to make changes.

 

Main Day Greeting: Prompt 1001

Thank you for calling Morgan and Associates.  If you know your party’s extension you may dial it at any time, you may press 9 for a directory by name, or you may listen for the following options.

 

Options Greeting: Prompt 1005 

Marty 201 

Joe Morgan 211   

Matt White 212     

Virginia Purdy 213            …..etc.

  2. Press  #0000 or #000.  You can then start with step 3  above to make any System administration changes.
